Women's Barbershop Chorus

If you are a woman who loves to sing and has a passion for harmony, NoteAble Blend is the place for you. A non-profit organization established in 1999, NoteAble Blend has since thrived in its pursuit of teaching the art of singing barbershop harmony to girls and women of all ages. NoteAble Blend helps its members through the challenge of singing unaccompanied music in a unique harmonic blend.

Through its affiliation with Harmony, Inc., it also offers a range of instructional programs for continued personal development, from beginner vocals and music theory to advanced direction, music composition and arranging. Taunton Civic Chorus

The 50 member ensemble is led by music director Eric Brown, accompanied by pianist Carolyn Melesky and Matthew Haynes as assistant director. In addition to presenting an annual spring and holiday concert, the TCC performs at local events such as Liberty and Union Weekend, Raynham Tree Lighting Festivities, Taunton's Ecumenical Lenten Series and by invitation at churches and community gatherings. Each year TCC proudly awards a scholarship to a young person entering college who has been involved in the performing arts in high school.

Rehearsals Thursdays from 7-9 pm at Union Congregational Church, 265 West Britannia Street, Taunton, MA. No auditions required, though voice ranges will be assessed.
